The main topics of the winter school are stochastic differential equations, interacting particle systems with particular emphasis on the regularity properties of the solutions, their limiting behavior and numerical computation. The geographic location of the Kilpisjärvi Biological Station is unique.

The target audience of the 5-day winter school are doctoral students and postdocs in probability, stochastic analysis, and mathematical physics. There are going to be 3 mini-courses by distinguished lecturers. Young researchers are welcome to contribute short talks and posters.
