Configs for the visual aspects of my Linux installation

• As you can see from this site, I like warm brownish and yellowish colours a lot. I've also spent a while customising the visual interface of my linux installation and the tools I use there to have a colourscheme using these kinds of colours. On this page you can find the configs defining this colourscheme and the general visual look of my installation.

i3wm, Polybar and dunst, the desktop enviroment

• Configs for the visual aspects of my "desktop enviroment". I use:

  • The i3 window manager
  • The Polybar status bar
  • The Dunst notification daemon
  • The pop-up program launcher given below
  • A bunch of system utilities which I've chosen without much thought

  
  Copy the following into your i3 config file. Do not add the gaps settings unless your i3 package supports gaps.

  Append the following into your Polybar config file and add the module definitions from the Polybar wiki. Launch with polybar using the name "mybar".

Neovim

• My horribly simple Neovim colourscheme that I (slightly?) modified from azuki.vim years ago. It also uses code from gruvbox to make maintaining it more bearable.
  Azuki.vim is licensed under MIT and gruvbox under MIT/X11. The following is under MIT.
  This has not really been used for anything other than LaTeX so be warned. It is not made for making you more efficient at coding.
  Copy the following file into your .vim/colors/ folder and call using :colorscheme pinkishbrown from within Vim.
