vector space, matrix calculus, eigenvalue problem, least square method, interpolation, theory of differential equations and systems, numerical methods, Laplace transform, Fourier series, basic theory of partial differential equations, complex functions, complex integral calculus, residual theorem, Mathematical packages Matlab and Maple.

Time: 8:00-10:00 am on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday. stars on 11,09,96 and ends on 09,12,96.
Place: Hall A.
The lectures are in Finnish. I 'll write some English notes anyway. You can find them on the homepage of this course.

Exercises(in English)

Time: 10:15-12:00 am on Wednesday at U325
14:00-16:00 pm on Friday at U352

Consultation time:

13:00-14:00 pm on Friday at U333

Exams:

Periodic exam:
1. 22,10 at 12:00-15:00 pm
2. 19,11 at 12:00-15:00 pm
3. 10,12 at 12:00-15:00 pm
Final exam will be informed later.
Note: you can take either periodic exam or final exam. You don´t need to take both.
