Accommodation
The organisers will provide a fixed amount of cheaper accommodations for conference participants in one of the university guest houses. The number of rooms is limited. We recommend to book this accommodation or hotel rooms well in advance of the meeting (at least 4 months). There will be the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki from June 27 to July 1, 2012, and we expect a large number of tourists visiting Helsinki during this time. Therefore, hotel rooms might be completely booked if participants decide too late.

How to travel from the central Helsinki (e.g. Toolo Towers, Hostel Academica) to the Aalto University campus in Otaniemi, Espoo? The bus lines number 102 and 103 (and a bit slower 102T, 103T) travel from Kamppi central bus station (inside the Kamppi shopping centre) to Otaniemi in about 20 minutes; please check the details in the conference talk abstract booklet (pages 3 and 4) under the "Schedule" link.
Kamppi central bus station is located downstairs in the Kamppi shopping centre. There, especially interesting is the level "E" on the map, with text "bussit Espooseen" meaning "buses to Espoo".
