Real Algebraic Geometry is the study of real solutions to algebraic equations. Within recent years, the interplay of methods from Real Algebraic Geometry with other domains in mathematics has turned out to be very fruitful. For example the interplay of semidefinite programming (SDP) and Real Algebraic Geometry has recently led to new paradigms for solving or approximating hard optimization problems.

The conference aims to present a wide range of recent developments related to Real Algebraic Geometry.

Speakers include both well-known senior experts and junior participants contributing with talks or posters.

This conference is funded by the Aalto Science Institute, and organized by Alexander Engström and Cordian Riener.
